New regulations that apply from 1 september: Zone 2 is closed for fishing from 1 september. Zone 1 is open for fishing for Sea Trout until 14 September. Fishing with earthworms is prohibited.

Fishing time Wild Salmon: 1. june - 31.august. Fishing time Sea trout: 1. june - 14. september. Length of fishing strech is 4,7 km. Conservation zones: Kors river and Neverfjord river with kjoser. Disinfection: There are requirements for disinfection of fishing equipment etc. (See fishing rules) Sea Char are totally protected. Bag-Limit applies to: (Max. 1 wild salmon per day). Seasonal quota: Maximum 8 wild salmon per. season.
Fishing license sale: Opens 1 February (24-hour license purchased via: scanatura.no). The fishing day starts at 1800 and ends at 1759 the next day. Fishing licenses must be purchased in relation to where the fisherman is a permanent resident. Only permanent residents in Finnmark (Finnmarkseiendommen) can buy a fishing license at a reduced price. Zone 1: 6 cards are sold per. day and night. Zone 2: 4 cards are sold per. day and night.

SEASON CARDS ARE SOLD UNTIL JULY 10 AFTER APPLICATION TO THE ASSOCIATION, FOR:
Permanent residents within the sector boundary Kvalsund. (Member "ACTIVE FISHERMAN" is given a reduced price on season tickets)
Permanent residents within Finnmarkseiendommen who own a cabin / holiday home within the sector boundary Cabin. (Trial scheme Until further notice).
Permanent residents within the sector boundary Hammerfest (similar to the former Hammerfest municipal boundary). (Trial scheme for 5 season tickets until further notice).
Permanent residents in Finnmark under the age of 16: Free season pass on request from parents.
TERMS OF PURCHASE: ALL applicants for season tickets must state their name and permanent residential address. In addition, a residence certificate must be attached. (ordered from the tax authorities). Owners of cabins / holiday homes within the sector boundary cabin must in addition enclose the homeowner documentation with farm / use number, as well as a map printout of the property (ordered from the Norwegian Mapping Authority). This as documentation of ownership of the cottage / holiday home. (Up to 2 season tickets are sold per leisure property, to the owner and / or owner's close family, who must also be a permanent resident within the Finnmark property (formerly Finnmark county). Applications for season tickets without sufficient documentation are not processed. (If you have not received a response to your season ticket application, the reason may be that you have not enclosed sufficient documentation).
